Welcome to my fantasy world of pictures. I am an artist based in Darwin, Australia. Thank you for stoping by and I hope you enjoy browsing through my work. I divide my creative time between painting, illustration and drawing.I studied art and design in high school at ‘Antonio Arroio School for visual arts’ in Lisbon, Portugal. That has allowed me to explore and share many ideas with fellow artists. I then embarked on a photographic journey and wouldn’t leave home without my camera. My dad and I drove mum crazy with our passion for photography. I still don’t leave home without a camera but these days i don’t do much photography as artwork anymore. I guess I moved on and rekindled my passion for drawing and painting. Can you believe that up to 2010 I was convinced I had forgotten how to draw or paint?

My work is derived from many aspects of life, including my passion for landscapes and built environments. Sometimes you will find ‘strange’ drawings or paintings…don’t panic…I am only expressing my personal experiences or emotions…I like to do it through art. Sometimes I use art as therapy. It works wonders… try it if you haven’t already and let me know how it worked for you.

I like to explore many mediums from acrylic, oils, watercolours and of course the digital realm. Sometimes I mix them all. I recently started experimenting with illustration inspired by many childhood experiences, observations and also inspired by nature. My head is full of characters wanting to come out so I bring them to life in my illustrations.

I have participated over the years in many group shows where I showed my work (art, photography and jewellery) and I have my work spread through Europe, United States, Japan and Australia in private collections.
